Who we are

Zareya is a brand and marketing agency based in Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya. We provide brand strategy, visual identity, campaigns, content, website design, and market research services to African businesses.

When we refer to "Zareya", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Zareya and any associated entities under the Pulse Group umbrella. You can reach us at hello@zareya.co.ke.

What information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Contact form submissions — when you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, industry, and the message you send us.
• Newsletter sign-ups — when you subscribe to The Zareya Letter, we collect your email address.
• Website analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. This includes pages visited, time on site, and general location data. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
• Client engagements — when you become a client, we collect additional business information necessary to deliver our services, including company details, brand assets, and communications.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your enquiries and project requests
• Send The Zareya Letter to newsletter subscribers
• Deliver brand and marketing services to clients
• Understand how our website is being used so we can improve it
• Send relevant updates about our services where you have consented

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for automated decision-making.

How we store your information

Contact form submissions and newsletter sign-ups are stored securely in our database, hosted by Supabase. Client project files and communications are stored in Google Drive with access restricted to the Zareya team and the relevant client.

We retain contact and enquiry data for up to 3 years. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Client project data is retained for 5 years following the completion of an engagement.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request that we correct inaccurate information
• Request that we delete your information
• Unsubscribe from The Zareya Letter at any time
• Withdraw consent for us to contact you

Our website uses cookies only for Google Analytics. These are analytical cookies that help us understand website usage in aggregate. No marketing or tracking cookies are used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
